Connecting the Dots Expo is open to all students with disabilities and their families, regardless of where the student attends school! Please join us to learn more about the resources available to support you!

FINDING THE RIGHT INFORMATION, resource, or person, to meet your specific needs or those of someone in your family, can be both challenging and frustrating.  We want to help!

During one of the breakout sessions, Jim will be presenting Differences or Disabilities for youth. The intent of this workshop is to help you learn to recognize your strengths and learning difficulties in order to maximize your potential. In this workshop, we will discuss various disabilities and how to identify your strengths and specific learning differences. By understanding how differences and disabilities impact learning, you become a more empowered self-advocate.

Connecting the Dots Expo está abierta a todos los estudiantes con discapacidades y sus familias, ¡independientemente de dónde asista el estudiante a la escuela! ¡Únase a nosotros para obtener más información sobre los recursos disponibles para ayudarlo!

Durante una de las sesiones de grupo, Jim presentará “Diferencias o Discapacidades” para jóvenes. El objetivo de este taller es ayudarte a reconocer tus fortalezas y dificultades de aprendizaje para maximizar tu potencial. En este taller, discutiremos varias discapacidades y cómo identificar tus fortalezas y diferencias específicas de aprendizaje. Al comprender cómo las diferencias y discapacidades impactan el aprendizaje, te conviertes en un defensor más empoderado de ti mismo.
