Learn how the Texas Driving with Disability program helps improve communication, understanding, and safety between law enforcement officers and Texans with disabilities. This presentation will review the voluntary Communication Impediment and Deaf or hard of hearing designation available through a Texas driver license or identification card, related vehicle registration options, and resources that families and individuals with disabilities can use to prepare for interactions with law enforcement.
