A Vision/Parent Input Statement is a visual picture that describes your child now and in the future. Participants will learn the importance of a Vision/Parent Input statement and how to develop an effective, child-focused Vision/Parent Input Statement to be included in their child’s IEP. An effective and child-focused Vision/Parent Input Statement is a tool parents can utilize to aid in developing an appropriate IEP. Participants will also learn the importance of data collection to a Present Levels of Academic Achievement & Functional Performance (PLAAFP) as well as easy to use data collection techniques for parents.
