Special education placement decisions should be based on each student’s individual strengths, needs, goals, and required supports. This session will help families understand the least restrictive environment, the continuum of placement options, and the factors an ARD committee considers when determining where services will be provided. Participants will learn how to ask meaningful questions and contribute to conversations about access, inclusion, support, and educational benefit.
